East Denistone is a suburb located approximately 17 kilometers north-west of Sydney's Central Business District in the City of Ryde local government area. It is bordered by Denistone to the west, Epping to the north and east, and Eastwood to the south.
As of the 2021 Census, East Denistone had a population of approximately 5,500 residents.
East Denistone developed as part of the broader Denistone area, named after early landowner Denis Lagrange. The suburb remained largely rural until the early 20th century when residential subdivision began.
