Ray’s Florist and gifts values your privacy, we will never disclose or sell customer database to any third party.   We use the IP addresses of our website visitors for statistical purposes and to help diagnose problems with our server in order to maintain our website. No approval is given or approved to any person entering this site to connect or create any link with any other website or to download or copy material from this site

SECURITY WITH ONLINE ORDERING

Ray’s Florist and gifts is committed to ensuring your security when ordering online with us. We have technological systems in place to ensure your security when providing us with your credit card details. At this stage we have only one method of payment, which is paypal, to process your payment. Your details are never handled by our system. We do not receive a copy of your credit card number or details. Paypal is a trusted central processing unit that is used by thousands of websites to process specifically payments online.

ONLINE SAFETY MAINTENANCE

Never offer your credit card details over an insecure site. Futhermore, do not simply believe that because a site claims to be secure, that it is. Check your browser; a small locked padlock somewhere on the base of your browser will indicate that a site is secure. A https:// URL also indicates a secure server

ABOUT ORDERING WITH US

  • For Ray’s Florist and Gifts to process your order, we need to collect information such as your full name, email address, contact numbers, your billing address, and delivery address and payment details.
  • Orders will not be despatched until full payment has been received and we are satisfied with the integrity of the order.
  • To avoid delays with processing your order, please make sure that your payment details are accurately entered into our secure online ordering system. We will endeavour to contact you as soon as we can if there are any issues that come to our attention, however please be advised that your order will not be dispatched until full payment has been confirmed.
  • It is your obligation to enter the full correct address of the recipient when placing the order. If you have entered the incorrect delivery address details, Ray’s Florist will not refund. Should you wish to continue with the delivery, a redirection fee will apply in sending the flowers again, and it will be at full expense to the customer.
  • Cancellation of orders – should it be necessary to cancel your order, money will be refunded less a $15 administration fee, ONLY IF notice of 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Cancellations received within 24 hours of order being placed will attract a charge of 50% of the total order value. We are unable to cancel orders that are already prepared and or are in transit headed for delivery.
  • Refunds – Each situation can be unique, for that reason we suggest you call our customer service department surrounding your order to discuss any concerns you may have in relation to your flower order. A number of resolutions may be available to you. Please note that all refunds for orders that were placed online are credited back to the original paypal account to which the order was purchased. In store purchases or phone orders refunds will be processed through the original credit card that the order was purchased.
  • Our normal trading hours for Ray’s Florist and Gifts are from 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday, Saturday 8am to 12noon. Orders placed prior to AEST Monday to Friday by 12noon will be delivered same day. Orders placed by 10am AEST Saturdays will be delivered same day. Ray’s Florist and Gifts in not open on Sundays or public holidays.
  • Ray’s Florist and Gifts cannot guarantee a specific delivery time but we will endeavour to fulfil your request.
  • Pricing of goods/services/delivery and other charges displayed on Ray’s Florist and Gifts website are current at the time of display. These prices are subject to variation/change without notice.
  • We will always endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our product descriptions and pricing.
  • All prices as quoted on website are inclusive of delivery and GST and all prices are quoted in Australian dollars.
  • Hamper gift items are subject to availability on the day of delivery.
  • Fruit baskets are required to have a 24hour notification
  • Containers/baskets/pots/cardboard boxes are subject to availability on the day and may be substituted.
  • Products/colours/containers may vary in regional/interstate areas.

GENERAL ORDERING INFORMATION AND FLOWER QUALITY

We pride ourselves on quality of our products/customer service. Ray’s florist and Gifts ensures that your flowers are of the freshest and highest quality and endeavour to always maintain this high standard. It is important though to understand that flowers are perishable goods and that a natural product will react to their immediate indoor environment and conditions. Air conditioning, extreme heat and changes in weather can have an adverse effect on the life span of your beautiful blooms. We understand how much a floral gift can mean to a recipient and we appreciate your business. We pride ourselves on making our customers happy with their choice of our online products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service or find it is not up to our usual high standard, please immediately contact our service department 02 9737 8877 within 48 hours so we can resolve the situation as soon as possible. We kindly ask you to supply an image of the product that was received so that we may have evidence of your concerns. If the product is not given proper care it will deteriorate and it is difficult for us to assess the complaint. Therefore we encourage for you to contact us immediately, however we know that each case is individual/unique and with our experience we will endeavour to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

SPECIAL DELIVERY

Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed unless prior arrangements have been made with our customer service department 02 9737 8877, every effort will be made to execute the specified time requested. Our standard business delivery service can cover orders being delivered up until 5pm and residential deliveries up until 6.30pm. Funeral service delivery times are best organised (if not much time is allowed) with our customer service department 02 9737 8877.

INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS

Ray’s florist and Gifts are not responsible if an incorrect address is supplied. Please make sure that you enter the correct details when ordering and double check all details e.g. phone numbers/house numbers and street names, give as much information as possible, there is special space for you to provide this information and we encourage you to use it. If we arrive at the delivery address that has been entered when ordering and find it to be the wrong address that was entered by you the customer then an additional delivery charge may be incurred as a redirection.

IF CUSTOMER NOT HOME

Upon placing your order we do request that you check prior to ordering that someone will be home to receive the goods. If no one is home our driver will leave the goods in a safe place if he/she feels that for any reason it is not safe to leave it at the premises then we will leave a calling card and do our utmost to return the address the same day, however how an additional charge may apply.

WHAT YOU HAVE ORDERED – DETAILS

Due to seasonal availability with certain lines of flowers, design and appearance can slightly differ in design to what is delivered. If a particular flower/product /container are unavailable then an item of similar quality/appearance and value will be substituted. Some flower availability can be affected due to freight schedules, Ray’s Florist will endeavour to advise you should this occur. Ray’s Florist may use their discretion and their choice of flowers to ensure your delivery.

SUBSITUTING PRODUCTS

We endeavour to replicate all arrangements images from our website as advertised, however flowers/containers/wrapping may vary due to seasonal and are subject to availability on day of delivery. Our professional florists will do their utmost to substitute the product to complement the image on our website. This policy applies so that we can ensure that all deliveries including regional/interstate and overseas orders are executed professionally and that we reserve the right to substitute goods of equal or greater value.

ALCOHOL

Ray’s Florist allows the sale of alcohol to accompany a flower arrangement or gift. Ray’s Florist supports the Responsible Service Of Alcohol and it is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to or to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. Arrangements or gifts which include alcohol cannot be delivered to or accepted by a person under the age of 18 years old. Alcohol orders are restricted to a maximum volume of two litres.

SPECIAL DAYS (Valentine’s Day /Mothers Day)

Valentine’s Day is the busiest days of the year for most florists, Rays Florist is no exception, therefore special delivery conditions do apply,There will be no time deliveries, All business/work addresses will be delivered by 5.00pm. Ray’s Florist will do their utmost to deliver the freshest possible product in the most reasonable amount of time on those special days.
